Runaway Bus Injures Two, Destroys Property in Kibera Constituency Lindi ward DARAJANI Area ( Climax bus) By Edgar Odhiambo Freelance journalist Nairobi, May 11, 2025 Panic struck residents of Darajani area, Lindi Ward in Kibera Constituency around 9:00 p.m. when a public service vehicle, registration number KBX 060S, lost control and plowed into roadside structures and pedestrians. According to eyewitnesses, the bus had been parked by the roadside and the driver had stepped out for a brief moment. Moments later, the vehicle unexpectedly began to move — with passengers still on board, but no driver behind the wheel. Eyewitnesses described screams as the panicked driver chased after the moving bus but failed to catch up. The runaway vehicle struck a woman walking along the road, injuring her. Her husband alleged that he rushed her to Mbagathi Hospital, but she was reportedly denied treatment until a police report could be provided. The bus continued to roll down the road...
